1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Verdikt (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of service

Verdikt is a self-serve web application for founders and AI builders, a product of Kastling ("Verdikt," "we," "us"). The Service uses software, large language models, paid data sources, and proprietary research methodology to generate structured digital reports on user-submitted startup ideas. Reports may include market analysis, competitive landscape, risk identification, stack and tool options, build outlines, launch-channel notes, and a numerical Verdikt Score on a 0 to 100 scale.

Verdikt does not provide human consulting, managed research, done-for-you marketing, custom development, legal services, financial services, investment analysis, career coaching, or any regulated professional service. Reports are informational research artifacts only. They are not investment, financial, career, legal, tax, accounting, or business advice, and they are not a guarantee of any business outcome. You retain sole authority over any decision you make in connection with a report.

3. Pricing and payment

Every report is paid. Single Report is $14.99 per report. Builder Pack is $39.99 for three reports.

Payments are processed via our payment processor or merchant of record. Charges are final except where Section 4 (Accountability and re-runs) applies. We do not issue refunds because the input brief contains errors, because the output disagrees with your expectations, or because the Verdikt Score is low. Refunds and re-runs are reserved for documented fault on our end, evaluated on the evidence.

4. Accountability, re-runs, and refunds

If something goes wrong on our end, we will re-run the report at no additional charge or, at our discretion or yours, issue a full refund. "Something wrong on our end" means a fault attributable to Verdikt, including but not limited to: the report failing to deliver, a broken or misattributed source citation, a hallucinated numeric claim that no cited source supports, a score that contradicts the evidence the pipeline itself surfaced, or a pipeline failure that produced an incomplete or malformed report.

To request a re-run or refund, email support@tryverdikt.app within fourteen (14) days of report delivery. Your email must identify the specific fault: the section, claim, or citation at issue, and the reason you believe it is wrong. We review each request individually on the evidence. We will acknowledge within one business day and resolve within three business days, either by re-running the report, issuing a refund, or providing a written explanation of why we believe no fault occurred. If we cannot resolve within three business days, you can escalate to hello@tryverdikt.app and a founder will respond directly.

Re-run or refund is the sole remedy for fault on our end. We do not issue partial credits, goodwill refunds for non-fault complaints, or refunds for reasons outside the scope above. Verdikt reports are research, not predictions, and they are not investment, financial, career, legal, tax, accounting, or business advice. We do not guarantee business outcomes. The accountability above covers our software-generated report, not the consequences of decisions you make using it.

5. Your content and ideas

You retain all ownership of the business ideas, briefs, and content you submit. We claim no ownership over your submissions and we do not use them to train models.

We retain submitted briefs while your account is active and delete them on request (privacy@tryverdikt.app). Generated reports are kept until you request deletion. We hold this data for the purposes of customer support, re-runs, and dispute resolution.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) generate reports on ideas that are illegal in your jurisdiction; (b) seek investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, career, medical, or other regulated professional advice; (c) create or facilitate spam, unsolicited outreach, ad placement, lead generation, social media manipulation, or other marketing services; (d) generate reports for gambling, adult content, weapons, controlled substances, crypto/NFT trading, credit repair, debt relief, get-rich-quick, job-board, marketplace, exam-cheating, or other high-risk or prohibited categories; (e) reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract our methodology; or (f) resell or redistribute reports without a written license from Verdikt.

Verdikt may refuse or cancel any report request that appears to fall outside this scope. If a paid request is refused before fulfillment for policy reasons, we will cancel the order or refund the charge.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose risk to the Service or other users.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, that reports will be accurate, or that any use of a report will produce favorable business outcomes. Verdikt reports are research, not predictions.

8. Not investment, financial, career, or legal advice

Verdikt is a research and validation tool for product decisions. Reports are research artifacts. They are NOT investment advice, financial advice, career advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or business advice of any kind. Verdikt does not advise on capital allocation, securities, personal financial planning, employment decisions, or compliance obligations, and Verdikt does not provide guidance to investors.

A numerical Verdikt Score (0 to 100) describes our research view of the idea as a product. It is not a recommendation to start, continue, leave, or change a job, to raise capital, to invest capital, to buy or sell any security, or to enter into any contract. You retain sole authority and full responsibility for every decision you make. If you need advice in any regulated area, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

Nothing on the Service, in a report, or in any communication from Verdikt creates a fiduciary, advisory, broker-dealer, attorney-client, accountant-client, or employer-employee relationship between you and Verdikt.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdikt's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you at least thirty days before the change takes effect, either by email to your account address or by a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

12. Referral program

Verdikt offers a referral program. You may share your unique referral link with others. When a referred user signs up through your link AND completes their first verdict, you earn 1 bonus verdict credit.

Free signups alone do not qualify. The credit is granted once per referred user, not per report. The maximum number of bonus verdicts you can earn through referrals is 10. Bonus verdicts do not expire but are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Verdikt reserves the right to revoke referral credits earned through abuse, self-referrals, fake accounts, or any activity that violates the spirit of the program. We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with 30 days notice posted to this page.
